Tree on a house, a car, or blocking a driveway: call, do not use the form. The line is answered 24 hours a day. If the tree is touching a power line, stay 30 feet back and call DTE at 800-477-4747 first.

What to include

• Your city and cross streets
• Roughly how tall the tree is, and how close to the house
• Whether a truck can get into the backyard, and how wide the gate is
• Two photos: one of the whole tree, one of the base
• How soon you need it done
